Tips for before your family photo session

What to wear to your shoot...

Choose neutral colors with soft, flowing fabric. Think creams, soft pastels, oatmeals, light brown, tans, grays or slate blue. Or if you want to show a more spunky side, try coordinating with bold colors. The key is coordinate with out being overly matchy.

Cheese is for crackers...

Please, parents... leave the "cheese" at home. So many times parents will stand behind the photographer and scream, "say cheese". I have found that its most useful for parents to step back, and allow the photographer to naturally interact and talk with your children. This will result in natural, gorgeous smiles. Its my job to capture the true essence of your childs personality.
